Sheet and Mattress, once prized collections of The Critically Acclaimed Curator, find themselves discarded in the alleyway behind The Definitive Museum. With trash collection encroaching, they attempt to earn their rightful place back into the museum penthouse. By light of a dumpster fire on what may be the last moments of their lives, they improvise the performance of a lifetime.

Psychic Wormhole

Psychic Wormhole — Stacy Lynn Smith + Alex Romania create interdisciplinary performance and experimental film. With over thirty years of professional practice between them, they have been working as a duo since 2019. Their work has been called “both delightful and horrifying” by The Brooklyn Rail. Works include: Face Eaters (The Chocolate Factory Theater); fame hOle (Grace Exhibition Space, La Mama, TENWEST Festival); RECKONING (in post-production). Psychic Wormhole has been artists-in-residence at MacDowell, Djerassi, The Wexner Center Film/Video Studio (ongoing), and VASE | School of Art at University of Arizona. They were recipients of the inaugural Artists Supporting Artists Program (ASAP) grant from Sweat Variant (Okwui Okpokwasili + Peter Born) and shortlisted for 2025 Creative Capital Award in Film. Romania was a 2018–2020 Movement Research AIR and 2024–2025 Franklin Furnace Awardee. Smith was a 2022–2024 Movement Research AIR and 2025 Dance and Process (DAP) AIR at The Kitchen.

What is the seating set-up & how do I get the best seats?

Seating is general admission and first-come first-served. So, the earlier you arrive at the theater, the more choice you’ll have about where you sit! (Bonus: the most affordable drinks in Midtown are at Bars Nova!)

What if it's sold out?

If a performance is sold out, you can join a standby line for day-of-show tix made available by minute cancellations and no-shows. Standby will begin 1 hour prior to curtain and will form outsideFolks from the standby line will be admitted into the show on a rolling basis as availability is confirmed. 

Additionally, Supra is never sold out! If you can’t make the show in-person, you can always stream online for only $15/mo, which gets you unlimited streaming access to performances from the last year. You can cancel your membership anytime by emailing contact@arsnovanyc.com.

Are there ticket fees?

Yes. The processing fees are charged by our ticketing and credit card processors, and increase along with the base price of your ticket.

What is your refund/exchange policy?

All sales are final – there are no refunds or exchanges.

If you’re unable to use your tickets, you may donate them in exchange for a letter of tax credit by emailing tix@arsnovanyc.com.
