A cloud falls to Earth with an insatiable thirst for knowledge. It learns by watching, by copying, and by getting very, very close to strangers. Guided by a live soundscape of collected signals, weather patterns, and human behavior, the Cloud attempts to become human. Through wind, rain, marshmallows, and increasingly questionable acts of research, it races through an entire lifetime in one clown-packed hour.

Michael Galligan

Michael Galligan is a Brooklyn-based performer specializing in clown. His show BANANA, about the relationship between bananas and imperialism, received international acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2023, and was called a “comedic tour du force” by The Interrobang in a 5-star review. He is interested in using clown as a lens to explore the erosion of our relationship to the natural world. He is a two-time recipient of the Brooklyn Arts Fund. Additional credits include Piper Theater Company, The Brick, 59E59 Theater, and Irondale Center, as well as experiential performance work with Netflix and the New York Botanical Garden. Bailey Nassetta

Bailey Nassetta (Director) is a queer Brooklyn-based director and clown who makes immersive, interactive, interdisciplinary theatre. Her work centers on personal narratives exploring identity, healing, and resilience. Her projects have received awards including Patron’s Pick, Best Solo Performance, Best Ensemble, and Best Festival Debut. Her work has been presented at the Kennedy Center, The Tank, Theatre Row, Brooklyn Art Haus, and internationally at the Camden and Edinburgh Fringe. Brason Jones

Brason Jones (Musician) is an actor and musician based in Brooklyn, NY. Recent credits include That Paradise Place (Pussypaws Puppetry), Take Me to Dollywood (La Mama), Cooking with Kathryn (Soho Theatre). He will next perform as cult leader David Koresh in the verbatim play The Waco Tapes (The Tank). Training: NYU-Tisch, École Philippe Gaulier. @brasonjones

Meaghan Robichaud

Meaghan Robichaud (Creative Producer) is a Brooklyn based creative producer, performer, and director. Recent producing credits include “TRAD” by Hannah Mitchell at the Exponential Festival, “Princess Fantasy” by Alexandra Brokowski, and “Nepobaby Psychodrama” by Jacob Peter Kovner.
